A victim of bulling and molestation as a child, Christine Jones could not concentrate on classroom activities. Escaping into the imagination was a way of survival for her. SouledRichard Errington talks with Clare Tanner on The Bookhabit Show about his love of Science Fiction that has seen him writing Science Fiction stories since he was 10 years old.

Souled is Richard’s first completed book and it has successfully made it through to Round 2 of the Bookhabit Unpublished Competition. The story of a ragtag band of children on the run crosses over in to the Fantasy genre – another favorite with Richard.

Now 22, a Leeds University Creative Writing degree graduate, Richard says the degree helped him put more structure in the process of his writing. He is now disciplined about how much and when he writes, and this discipline can mean (more…)
