Habitat by Sean Monaghan is a young adult Science Fiction thriller. The book moves along at a fast pace, with telepathic aliens destroying the peace on a giant space station. The inspirations for Sean’s writing are varied. He probably reads more than most people, being a librarian and creative writing tutor. The many environments and mediums he works in provide additional stimulation as he explores how art, music and writing can forge together to excite the recipient’s senses and improve his own. His explorations of alternative forms and spaces swell his creativity in ways that often surprise him.

A lot of Sean’s work is made available through the internet, and the understanding of how this works, combined with his profession, give him an insight into what is happening in the publishing industry and how the internet can be used to promote his love of reading, writing and the other arts. In the podcast Sean shares his top three tips from his experience with his students.

Are you a brand new dad, experienced dad or have just found out that you are going to be a dad? Then, the International Dad channel is the show you want to listen to. Hosted by the 3 directors of diyfather.com, Scott, Stefan and Eric, International Dad presents information, experiences and news for fathers by fathers. Each week the team discusses parenting related topics from a male perspective or interview activists in the field.

Our common goal: help men to become better fathers by sharing insights, tips and stories. Coffee groups for mums have been around for a long time and women haven been sharing their experiences for decades. Why not fathers? We think it’s about time fathers take a more active role in the upbringing of our children. Listen to International Dad at www.internationaldad.com and join in!
